Kellie Talor Disonto was born Taylor Skye Baker. She was a joy to all of the family.

I was caring for my terminally ill mother and thought I was being there for Stephanie. Mom died in August and I returned to college.

One month later I learned Stephanie was considering adoption for Taylor Skye. I was confused, tired and heartbroken. My mind said to support Steph in her decision yet my heart would not allow this to happen but it was too late.

Steph had already talked to adoption services and they immediately isolated her from her family so they could manipulate Stephanie's decision. I knew what was happening but could not stop it. Through frustration I fought with my beautiful daughter and our relationship shattered. I lost my Daughter for a year and my first Grandchild forever.

I remember the last time I held Taylor as if it was a few moments ago. She was crying as if she knew I would never hold her again. My tears rolled down my cheeks as I walked with her and talked to her softly kissing her cheeks every few seconds. I can feel my lips on her cheeks and smell the fresh baby powder.

Stephanie was manipulated into thinking we didn't have enough to give Taylor Skye a happy life. She was manipulated into allowing Don and Colleen Disanto adopt Taylor by being told it would be an open adoption. The agreement was that Stephanie would always be part of Taylor's life. She would be allowed to visit, receive photo's, letters and information. They agreed that Taylor would grow up knowing she was adopted so she would never be shocked. Stephanie and the family would always be known and could send Tay photo's and gifts.

This lasted for as long as it took to make sure everything was legal and then little by little the agreement changed. Stephanie couldn't visit. Any letters had to be past through Colleen's friend Renee. Gift's, photo's and letters were sent but we have no idea if Taylor received them. Phone calls were omitted then the photo's slacked off. Letters began coming once a year after Taylor's birthday with only one unclear photo. Then the letters started to not show up for months after Taylor's birthday.

Stephanie has a trunk full of journals she has written so Taylor would always know she loved her. She has waited for her birthday to roll around each year and watched the mailbox each day, going home on work break everyday praying for a letter and photos. She has been tortured in the worst way. The not knowing, wondering, being manipulated and betrayed. All I could do is tell her I love her and maybe someday Taylor would look for us.

Taylor looks just like her First Mother. Stephanie recently ran across Talor's my space page and sent it to me saying Mom she is a mixture of you and I. I have never been as beautiful as those two...nowhere close.

Taylor we know Don and Colleen are your parents. We just hope you are aware that you are precious to us and we love you.
