Joe Dell and Diane went to Florence, Alabama to get married. Mom went with them and after much begging and crying I went also. Mom said I couldn't go but Joe Dell convinced her to allow me to tag along.

Joe Dell and Diane would come and pick me up and take me for ice cream. My favorite was went Diane carried me to their apartment and made me fudge. There was never a problem choosing between ice cream or Diane's fudge. Her fudge won every time.

Joe Dell and Diane had the second grandchild. Joey Darren Parrish November 19, 1967. Aren't they adorable. I thought I was something special because I was an Aunt at the age of twelve. But no one at school believed me.

I haven't seen Darren in a long time and don't have many photo's. Maybe he will see this and send me some...Hint, Hint!

Joe Dell married Linda Hill Parrish in Hickman County. I don't have photo's of Linda and was never around her enough to really know her. They had a son, Barry Edward Parrish June 1976. Barry and my daughter, Amanda attended school together and sometimes he would come and visit with us. Barry was a very precious child. For a while in 1997 he talked to me on the computer but then he disappeared from the internet. Barry if you see this, please email me.

Amanda went to spend the night at Barry's house once when they were young. We had just went school shopping and she was determined to take her new gym shoes. I told Linda she had old shoes in her bag to play in and Linda had just bought Barry new shoes so we told them both no playing in the new shoes.

Well on Sunday I drove over to pick Amanda up and she and Barry were in deep trouble. They had slipped out of the house with their new shoes on and played in the creek. Barry was grounded and so was Amanda.

I am ashamed to say I don't have many photos of Joe Dell's Family. It is not that I don't love them or think of them, I just haven't had a chance to be with them very much.

Elaine was Joe Dell's third wife and I do not know her maiden name. They did not have children.

The photo above has all my siblings together. We had a family gathering at Odell & Kay's home. Aren't we a good looking bunch:)

Joe Dell has been very sick after having a stoke in September 2006. Take care of yourself! We love you.
