Ally Elise's Page

Ally is my little redheaded granddaughter. She was born on a chilly February day. After Amanda had her first child Katie I made the comment that she should not have another Child because she had given all the best to her first. Well I had no idea what I was talking about. Amanda had Ally and the two are as different as daylight and dark yet alike as two beautiful pink roses.

The day Ally was born there was so much excitement. And just as time was coming close for her arrival someone looked out the window and said they were locking the gates where I had parked my car. In my frenzy I turned and handed Ally's Daddy my keys and ask him to run and move my car because I couldn't walk very fast. He looked annoyed but took the keys and ran to move my car. Now to show how brain dead I was...it never occurred to me that I had sent Shane away from the room until years later when Mandy laughed and said "Yeah and Mom sent Shane to move her car in the last minutes of Ally's birth!" How awful and how could I have not realized what I had ask of Shane. Luckily he made it back in time and never once did he mention what I had ask of him.

You can't tell that Ally and her sister Katie adore their Aunt Stephy. This picture was taken as they enjoyed a day at the art museum. Nana loves Halloween with her girls. But after Ally took a second look she knew it was her Nana. No fooling Nana's smart little cookie. Ally is a little girlie girl. She enjoys playing dress-up and putting on make-up. This is another one of the little dancers of the family. Ally has performed at TPAC for several years and she was outstanding.

My Ally will never need to kiss a toad to find her prince for she is adored by all who meet her. And this is my beautiful granddaughter
Ally Elise.
